We are Jeremiah and Lori Kepner (along with our 5 children). We live in Davis, CA. We served full time with Cru for many years in the Campus Ministry, helping college students find and follow Jesus. In 2024, Jeremiah and Lori took other professional roles outside of Cru, but continue to volunteer with the Cru ministries of Athletes in Action (Jeremiah) and Faculty Commons (Lori). We love the ministry of Cru and are thankful to be part of it. Our other jobs also continue to be in ministry, with Jeremiah as the pastor at Pole Line Baptist Church in Davis, and Lori serving as an attorney with Christian Legal Society's Center for Law and Religious Freedom. 

In our volunteering for Cru, Jeremiah works with Athletes in Action in Davis, the Cru ministry to professional and college athletes to help them follow Jesus and be equipped to reach their teammates, friends and neighbors with the good news of Jesus Christ. Specifically, he works as a chaplain to the men's soccer team at UC Davis, leading a weekly Bible study and mentoring several of the young men as well as reaching other teams on campus in a variety of ways.

Lori volunteers with Faculty Commons, the ministry of Cru that seeks to help connect, encourage and resource Christian professors to live out their faith in a rooted and compassionate manner in the midst of the challenges of academic life. She is helping to provide community for faculty at UC Davis. 

Thank you for your prayers for our family and the local and national ministries we are involved in. Thank you for your partnership with us in relation to our volunteer work with Cru specifically. Any funds you donate here allow us to reimburse our ministry expenses with athletes and faculty (such as providing food and resources for them).
